Perfect Example of Why Advisors Consider Going Independent

In this video, I share a conversation about a 25-year tenured advisor who wasn’t unhappy at his current firm, but still felt pulled toward independence.

His biggest concern? Being told “No.” when clients ask about a service, technology, or investment his firm hasn’t or wouldn’t approve. He doesn’t want to wait years for due diligence on tools that could help his clients and team today. He wants the freedom to hire, invest, and innovate on his own terms best for his clients.

This is a perfect example of why many advisors go independent: You don’t have to be miserable to make a change, you just have to be excited about what’s possible on the other side.

I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
